What OROwork is
OROwork is software a dental clinic uses to manage appointments, patient records, invoicing and patient messages. We provide the software. We do not provide dental care, clinical advice, or any opinion about how a clinic should treat a patient. Everything clinical is the clinic’s own professional responsibility.
Your account
- You must give accurate details when signing up and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you invite do.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at connect@orowork.in if you think somebody else has it.
- You must be authorised to act for the clinic you are signing up.
Your data stays yours
Everything a clinic puts into OROwork belongs to that clinic. We do not claim ownership of it, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for anything other than running the service for you. We hold it to provide the software, as described in our privacy policy.
You can ask for an export or a deletion at any time by writing to connect@orowork.in.
Plans, billing and taxes
- Every plan is sold monthly or yearly. You pick which when you subscribe, and you can move between them from Settings, under Billing.
- Plans are billed in Indian rupees, in advance, from the date the subscription starts: a monthly plan every month, a yearly plan once a year.
- A yearly plan costs less than twelve months of the same plan, and that saving is the whole of the difference. The product is identical on both.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. The next renewal date is shown in Settings, under Billing, so cancel before it if you do not want another period.
- Every plan begins with a free trial. No payment is taken during the trial and no card is asked for to start one.
- A plan limits how many people can sign in to the clinic. Everything else in the product is included in every plan.
- Payments are taken by our payment provider on their own secure page. We never see or store your card details.
- Prices may change. If they do, we will tell the account owner by email at least 30 days before it affects that clinic, and you can cancel before it does. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, so a yearly plan keeps its price until it renews.
- Taxes are charged where they apply and are shown on the invoice.
If a payment does not go through
Nothing is deleted because an invoice went unpaid. What happens is:
- The subscription is marked past due and we email the account owner.
- You keep full access during a grace period, so a failed card does not stop a clinic working that afternoon.
- After the grace period the workspace becomes read-only. Everything stays readable and nothing is removed. New appointments, invoices and records cannot be created until the subscription is active again.
- Paying restores full access straight away.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Settings, under Billing, whether you pay monthly or yearly. See our refunds and cancellation policy for what happens to the rest of a period you have paid for and when we refund.
What you agree not to do
- Use OROwork for anything unlawful, or to store records you are not entitled to hold.
- Try to reach another clinic’s data, or to break, probe or overload the service.
- Resell or rent access to your workspace to someone else.
- Upload malware, or anything designed to damage the service or the people using it.
- Send messages to patients who have not agreed to hear from you, or that break the rules of the messaging channel you are using.
If a clinic does any of this we may suspend the account. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Availability
We work to keep OROwork available and we take backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, a provider outage or something we did not foresee can interrupt it. We will tell you about planned maintenance in advance where we can.
Limits on our liability
OROwork is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits, or for data lost where you have not kept your own copy. Where we are liable, our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.
Ending the agreement
- You can stop using OROwork and cancel at any time.
- We may end the agreement if a clinic breaks these terms, or with 30 days’ notice by email for any other reason.
- If we end it without cause, we refund the unused part of what you have paid.
- After the agreement ends you can ask for an export of your data for 3 months. After that we delete it.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and email the account owner of every active clinic before the change takes effect. Carrying on using OROwork after that means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
